Tekno Consulting is an incorporated company established in Genoa (Italy) in 1996 by three partners who still manage it as evolution of Tekno Studio Associato which had been organized in 1985 by the same current partners.
The company is in constant development and its staff is currently composed by a team of 20 professional figures. A balance is kept between senior staff with extensive experience and younger staff eager on technical and professional growth. Most members are multidisciplinary with both shipyard and office background, either holding qualifications or having experience in more than one specialist area.
The Company relies on a complete circuit of technical specialists which includes senior naval architects, finite elements (FEM) professionals, hydrodynamics and seakeeping experienced team. In case of particularly difficult investigations the Company relies on the Genoa University where it has qualified consultants.
To the Customers the Company offers a complete service from the project feasibility study, preliminary drawings, specification, etc. to the ship delivery, including Classification Society approvals and Shipyard survey.
To the Shipyards for new building, lengthening, conversions and refitting the Company offers their experience for the preparation of construction drawings (structural blocks, pipings and accomodations layout, electrical plans, etc.) at the stages of general arrangement or of workshop construction documentation.
To the Ship Owners the Company offers a worldwide service as technical advisor for the ship management and implementation of the new International Regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.).
